Do you…
Identify as Jewish? Have a child over 3 years old by October 1st of the year and is potty-trained? Want your child to have a strong Jewish education?
The mission of Lafayette Jewish Community Religious School (LJCRS) is to teach Judaism and Jewish values, as well as instill a strong Jewish identity in our youth. The school gives the youth of the West Lafayette–Lafayette area a chance to be with other Jewish children and interact with adult Jewish leaders as they grow Jewishly and learn more about their roots.
LJCRS is a nondenominational community Jewish religious school housed at Temple Israel that has been providing Jewish education to the Greater Lafayette area for more than 60 years. It is proud to welcome students throughout the Jewish denominations for classes each Sunday.
- Classes run from 10:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
- The Community Service is held from 11:45 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
- The ages of our students range from 3 years old until 9th grade.
- PLEASE NOTE: Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, all classes are being held via zoom.
