KIMBERLY MOORE

Office Manager
Kimberly Moore has been our Temple office manager since October 2018. She earned her associate degree in business administration from Ivy Tech also in 2018, where her favorite class was communication.

Prior to working for Temple Israel, she served Battle Ground United Methodist Church as its office manager for nearly nine years. While her adult children were young, Kim took some time off from working outside the home until they were both in school. Her volunteer experiences include Cub Scouts and The Tribe, the parent–teacher’s group for middle school, when she held the positions of vice president and president.

Kim grew up in Lafayette and graduated from Central Catholic High School. She and her husband, Jason, have two adult children and four granddaughters. They adopted granddaughter, Ella, at age three. Ella is now eight and in second grade. Kim, Jason, and Ella live in Battle Ground with their cat, Chloe, and dog, Dusk.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys watching Ella play with her cousins and friends. She enjoyed attending Ella’s T-ball and soccer games with other parents and looks forward to Ella’s new activities—dance and gymnastics. She can’t wait for Ella’s recitals! “Our home is always busy with Ella and her friends. One of the nice things about living in a small town is we all look out for each other’s kids,”
Kim said.

Before they adopted Ella, Kim and her husband played doubles in a billiards league. They were good enough in playing pool to make it to Nationals, which were held in Las Vegas. “One of the important things in my life is having that adult time—whether it is catching up with my neighbors, having date night with my husband, or getting together with friends. This definitely helps balance my life a bit.”

Jason Moore

Custodian
Jason Moore has been our custodian since November 2019. He’s brought both custodial and maintenance skills to our facility.

Jason worked as a custodian at Purdue University for 13 years and then at TRW for several years, while his wife, Kimberly, earned her degree. After that period, Jason decided to go into business for himself. In 2018 he formed his painting business, Personalized Painting and Cleaning Service, which he operates today.

If you plan to meet Jason at the Temple, you’ll need to set an early alarm. His workday starts at 5 in the morning!

One of the first tasks Jason tackled at Temple Israel was organizing the mechanical room. When the COVID-19 pandemic went into lockdown in March 2020, the Temple Board closed the building to the public, and Jason increased sanitizing efforts throughout the building.

Jason graduated from Harrison High School, where he was on the wrestling, football, and golf teams. He served as a scout leader and master from 2001 to 2005. Jason played pool in a league conducted by the American Poolplayers Association, as well as an APA tournament, until he and Kim adopted their granddaughter, Ella. His hobbies include mushroom hunting, fishing, and playing 8-ball and 9-ball pool.

Jason is married to our Temple office manager, Kimberly Moore. The Moores celebrated their 28th anniversary in March 2021. They live in Jason’s hometown of Battle Ground with their daughter Ella, their cat, Chloe, and dog, Dusk.
