Lafayette Jewish Community Religious School (LJCRS)

Do you…

Identify as Jewish? Have a child over 3 years old by October 1st of the year and is potty-trained? Want your child to have a strong Jewish education?

The mission of Lafayette Jewish Community Religious School (LJCRS) is to teach Judaism and Jewish values, as well as instill a strong Jewish identity in our youth. The school gives youth in the West Lafayette–Lafayette area a chance to be with other Jewish children and interact with adult Jewish leaders as they grow Jewishly and learn more about their roots.

LJCRS is a nondenominational community Jewish religious school housed at Temple Israel that has been providing Jewish education to the Greater Lafayette area for more than 60 years. It is proud to welcome students in all branches of Judaism.

Classes are based on age and include a Community Service led by Jewish education leaders. Students range in age from three years old through ninth grade.
