5784 Elul Miniseries

Rabbi Bellows will provide a miniseries during the month of Elul designed to prepare our minds and souls for the High Holy Days Season. This year’s classes will focus on healing, as this has been a difficult year following the events of October 7th and beyond. Together, we will focus on preparing ourselves for this new year of promise and hope.

Hebrew II

Hebrew opens up precious Jewish traditions and sources that we otherwise are experiencing secondhand. This class will review the letters of the Alephbet that you already know, introduce unfamiliar letters, and help you recognize basic Hebrew vocabulary found in the Siddur and Torah. Perhaps you have tried learning Hebrew before and time has passed. This course is geared for you. 

When: Wednesdays at 5:30 pm beginning October 30th.

Adult Bet Mitzvah Class

Have you always wanted a Bar or Bat Mitzvah ceremony celebrating your commitment to Torah and Judaism? If so, join Rabbi Bellows  twice a month as you work toward learning to read from a Torah scroll. This class is designed for people who either became Jewish in adulthood or never had a ceremony in their childhood, and it will culminate with a group Bet Mitzvah ceremony led by the class participants. This class will be made available on Zoom, if necessary.

Thursdays bi-Weekly beginning November 7th at 5:30 pm

Torah Study

Join us on Saturday mornings as we embark on an in-depth discussion of the Torah portion of the week. No prior Torah or Hebrew knowledge is necessary. This program does not meet when there is a Shacharit Shabbat Service. It is available on Zoom.
