Here to Help!
Our wonderful staff keeps our Temple beautiful and our congregation running smoothly. They are the reason our newsletters are sent out on time, and our rooms are always clean for your program! Please do not hesitate to call upon them, if you have a need or questions!
Office Manager
Kimberly Moore
Kim Moore has been our Temple office manager since October 2018. She earned her associate degree in business administration from Ivy Tech also in 2018, with a favorite class of communication. Before working for Temple Israel, she served Battle Ground United Methodist Church as its office manager for nearly nine years.
Kim says the best part of her job is seeing temple members and being able to help them. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. They especially enjoy going to festivals, the drive-in, and picnics. Also, now that her daughter is older, she and her husband can have date nights again!
Kim grew up in Lafayette and graduated from Central Catholic High School. She and her husband, Jason, have two adult children, one child in middle school, and five grandchildren. They live in Battle Ground with a cat, Chloe, and dog, Dusk.
Custodian
Jason Moore
Jason Moore has been our custodian since November 2019. He’s brought both custodial and maintenance skills to our temple. Jason worked as a custodian at Purdue University for 13 years and then at TRW for several years.
After that period, Jason decided to go into business for himself. In 2018 he formed his painting business, Personalized Painting and Cleaning Service, which he still operates today. If you plan to meet Jason at the Temple, you’ll need to set an early alarm. His workday starts at 5:00 in the morning!
Jason is married to our Temple Office Manager, Kimberly Moore. In his spare time, Jason enjoys being outdoors, for mushroom hunting and fishing. They live in Jason’s hometown of Battle Ground with their daughter Ella, their cat, Chloe, and their dog, Dusk.
