Yom Chamishi, 5 Elul 5778

The mission of LJCRS is to teach about Judaism and Jewish values, as well as to instill a strong Jewish identity in our youth. The school educates children in a developmentally appropriate and non-judgmental way, with many opportunities for parent participation. LJCRS is a community-based Sunday school whose board is comprised of both Temple Israel and Sons of Abraham members, plus parents who are unaffiliated with either congregation. The school is open to all Jewish families in Greater Lafayette. LJCRS serves children aged three years through ninth grade. It meets a minimum of thirty Sunday mornings per year in the Temple Israel school wing.

We could not exist without the generous support of the following organizations: Sons of Abraham, Temple Israel, Temple Israel Sisterhood, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Lafayette. We also receive support from thoughtful individuals who believe in the work of educating our Jewish youth. To everyone, we say, thank you.
